Vendor Terms & Conditions
Effective July 5, 2026
These terms govern selling on the Stok'd marketplace (the store inside the Stok'd app and at
stokd.surf). By applying to sell, accepting an invite, or operating a shop on Stok'd, you agree to them.
Shoppers' privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
1. Your shop, your sales
- You are the merchant of record for everything you sell: you set prices, fulfill and
ship orders, handle taxes, returns, and customer service for your products.
- Payments run through your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Stok'd never holds your funds and
has no access to your Stripe, bank, or payout details.
- Product listings must be accurate — real photos, honest descriptions, real availability, and the
shipping/returns terms you actually honor.
2. Storefront fee
- Hosting a shop may carry a monthly storefront fee, set per shop by Stok'd (some shops may be
free). The fee is shown before you enroll and is billed through Stripe. It is separate
from your sales revenue.
- If Stok'd changes your fee, your shop keeps running on its current terms until you
approve the new fee in the vendor portal. Approving a paid fee bills the new amount from your next
invoice; approving a free plan simply ends billing.
- You can cancel a paid enrollment anytime; your shop stays live through the period you've paid for.
3. What you may not sell or do
- Illegal goods or services; counterfeit or trademark/copyright-infringing items; stolen goods.
- Weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco/vape, or age-restricted products.
- Hazardous items, recalled items, or products that violate safety regulations.
- Hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content in listings, shop branding, or messages.
- Misleading conduct: fake reviews, artificial scarcity claims, bait-and-switch pricing, or
misrepresenting who fulfills the order.
- Off-platform payment steering for orders initiated on Stok'd.
4. Moderation and enforcement
- Stok'd may flag, hide, or remove any product and suspend or terminate any
shop that violates these terms, harms shoppers, or exposes Stok'd to legal risk — at its sole
discretion, with or without prior notice.
- Where practical, we'll tell you what was actioned and why, and you may appeal by contacting
support@stokd.surf.
- Repeated or serious violations end the relationship: your shop is unpublished and enrollment is
canceled. Orders you already accepted must still be fulfilled or refunded.
5. Your account
- A shop may have multiple authorized logins; every login has full access to the shop and each person
is bound by these terms. Keep your credentials secure and remove people who leave.
- You must provide accurate business information and keep your contact email current.
6. Stok'd's role and liability
- Stok'd provides the marketplace software and forecast app "as is". We are not a party to the sale
between you and the shopper.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stok'd's total liability to you for any claim arising out of
these terms or the marketplace is limited to the storefront fees you paid Stok'd in the three months
before the claim.
- You'll indemnify Stok'd against claims arising from your products, listings, or breach of these
terms.
7. Changes and governing law
- We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the vendor portal and take effect 14
days after posting. Continuing to operate your shop after that is acceptance.
- These terms are governed by California law; venue is Los Angeles County, California.
